Fernanda is a vibrant Afro-Latina hailing from Brazil, who also proudly calls the Pacific Northwest her home. With an infectious enthusiasm for the outdoors, she can be found exploring the mountains or gliding across the water, often accompanied by her faithful canine companion, Ivy, turning every outing into an Ivy-venture! Fernanda's outdoor pursuits range from hiking, backpacking, and mountaineering to paddleboarding, but she's just as content kicking back at home. Beyond her love for adventure, Fernanda is deeply passionate about forging connections with others, delving into the history of the lands she traverses, and tirelessly advocating for equity, inclusivity, and belonging in outdoor spaces.

What's your favorite place to hunt/hike/fish/camp/be?

Living in the PNW makes it hard to choose one, but I love the Mt. Baker Wilderness area and North Cascades National Park, especially during fall season!

What's one bucket list item you plan on checking off this year?

Not one specific item, but I have a friend from home coming to visit me the year and I can't wait to take her on a hike!
