Meet Lily, an adventurer extraordinaire with a passion for dirt paths, long walks, and all things fun (especially type 2 fun!). With minimal prior experience, Lily boldly embarked on her backpacking journey by thru-hiking the 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail in 2021, sparking a love affair with hiking. Since then, she's tackled trails like the Tour du Mont Blanc in Europe and the Wonderland Trail in Mt. Rainier National Park, along with weekend hikes in her picturesque home state of Michigan (ope!). Currently gearing up for a thru-hike of the Arizona Trail, Lily's hip belt will boast over 3,500 miles of hiking by the end of 2024. On the trail, she goes by the moniker "Pastor Frank," a humorous trail name earned during her PCT thru-hike. Always up for almost any adventure (bungee jumping or skydiving, anyone?!), Lily is constantly plotting her next major travel adventure, and eagerly awaits chance encounters with fellow adventurers in the wild!
Truly, on any long distance hiking trail. I have a love for thru hikes, especially where the mountains are BIG.
Trekking poles, extra snacks, and my favorite sweatpants (for me, comfort is key at the end of a long hiking day!).
